If you enjoy creating pieces with their own identity, this is the ideal base. As it has already undergone the first firing (bisque firing), it allows you to apply glazes, slips (engobes), and paints directly onto the surface.
Once decorated and fully dry, simply fire the piece a second time. The final firing temperature should be adjusted according to the glaze used, resulting in a durable, functional, and unique finished piece.
